Today's been pretty good, although I can't believe it's been an entire year since last fourth of July. Fucking strange.

I'm sitting in my room with Jessica and Tyler, watching some awkward episode of SNL. Like, really, really awkward. I've been in something of a bad mood since Carson's impromptu party, filled with beer pong and small talk with people I don't really care for. Plus, you know. The whole 'Carson and Ethan' thing. Never fun.

Shit, I'm tired.

I should get some sleep if I want to be awake enough to go grab donuts in the morning. Blah.

Life is so fucking busy. oh my god. I'm throwing a monstrous party with Arica on Friday, so I've been getting ready for that, and I have a shitload of homework, tests, quizzes, and make-up work to do all before that same Friday. Somebody shoot me. Please.

At least we only have nine more days of school left. HALLE-FUCKING-LUJAH.

Francesca and I helped Tyler look for a job today. I think he's applying to Pacsun, but we're not entirely sure. He says he doesn't want to have to deal with the teenyboppers, which I don't blame him for. And a lot of the music sucks. I doubt it'll be much of a problem once he's getting paid, 'cause he has to pay for theatre nationals and our roadtrip to D.C. this summer. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT, TY-TAY. Good luck.

OKAY. So at first, upon hearing the buzz about a new cast for the third series of Skins, I had my doubts. I didn't know if it'd be as good as the first two series, and almost considered not watching it. BUT SHIT, I AM SO GLAD I DID. Sure, it's not quite as awesome as the previous seasons (so far), but the whole Cook/Freddie/Effy dynamic is just... awesome. But we'll touch upon that later. Emily/Naomi = pure femslash love. Guh. Emily is so cute! I want them to end up together so bad. Katie can go shove it somewhere. She'd be better off parading herself down some grimy streetcorner at four in the morning to desperate businessmen. (Yeah, calm down, they're fictional.) 

NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT COOK/FREDDIE. I'll admit it -- I shipped it before I saw a new episode. So sue me. With that said, you can imagine my surprise when, as I start watching, it seems to become more and more canon. But I didn't think anything too serious of it, just thought the writers were teasing us a bit. Then there came episode five. AND HOLY SHIT. Honey, this pairing is so canon it hurts. Seriously. This is the epitome of angst and seemingly one-sided love, and it's just... amazing. Cook is so sick and twisted, like Chris and Tony combined, with an even more masochistic edge. Freddie... well, he's pretty to look at and fairly decent, but for the most part very boring. I don't like either character on their own. Only together. Their relationship is completely fucked and borderline deranged on Cook's part, but that's why it's so great. JUST TRUST ME PEOPLE. SHIP IT. SHIP IT NOW. I need people to flail with. D:
